A Journey That Started at the Teller Line

Kayla’s banking story began the summer after high school when she stepped into her first role as a teller. What started as a summer job quickly became something more. She continued working in banking through college, gaining firsthand experience in customer service, daily operations, and the foundational principles that make a community bank strong.

After college, Kayla spent time in management within the agricultural retail industry, sharpening her leadership skills and deepening her understanding of operations and service. In 2016, she returned to banking, bringing with her a broader perspective and a passion for helping people navigate one of the most important aspects of their lives: their finances.

Leading Loan Operations

As Assistant Vice President and Loan Department Operational Manager, Kayla plays a critical role in ensuring the loan department runs efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance.

Her responsibilities include:
• Supervising and supporting loan specialists
• Overseeing loan processing and documentation workflows
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and operational accuracy
• Managing timelines to support lenders and customers
• Identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Providing training and development for loan operations staff

A Heart for Community

Kayla’s leadership doesn’t stop at the bank doors. She currently serves as President of the Lebanon Optimist Club, where she works alongside fellow members to support programs and activities that benefit the community. Her involvement reflects our belief that community banking extends far beyond transactions. It’s about investing time, talent, and heart into the places we call home.

When she’s not at work or serving the community, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband and family, helping on the farm, and hunting for treasures in antique stores. She’s an early bird, runs on coffee, and looks forward to spring each year. And while she loves a good Netflix mini-series, she’s still on the hunt for the next great one.
